Selfishly exhausted by the green canoodling bubbles.

We must exist for ourselves and ourselves alone. People and things exist just to make us happy. Us, and us alone. If they don't, hey be selfish, out they go. When you feel happy because of something you have done, nothing can be better than that. Better than anyone doing something for you, which is unlikely in the first place. Others are selfish. Live with that belief and not only will you be content, you're likely to be greatly surprised several times in life.

The pleasure of exhaustion is sweet. Masochistic as that sounds, the feeling of being dead beat voluntarily, of feeling absolutely worn out physically can give one a real high.

The word bubble is one of THE cutest words in the English Language. Say it with me and you'll see it. Bubble. Bub-ble. BUBB-LE. Those who saw the inherent cuteness, you're my kinda folk. Mosey on over to the comments section and give me a big ol’ high-five! :D

The colour green is quite soothing. Even dhinchaak fluorescent green that initially makes you feel like a plant when you're surrounded by the colour. Like hotels always say location, location, location; with colours, it's all about lighting, lighting, lighting. Yes. That, my friend was pointless. You did not miss some deeper meaning that was supposedly intended.

The word canoodle is another fascinatingly cute word. I can't help but picture two giant strands of spaghetti making out with each other whenever I hear the word. And I adore using it in sentences. Even when absolutely not required.

Recently, a Gilmore Girls fan told me that the series insists that the cutest sentence in the world is "Oye with the poodles". Hey, who am I to dispute the veracity of Gilmore Girls. Me and said GG fan came up with the new and improved cutest sentence in the world. Behold- "Oye with the poodles canoodling in the bubble". It rock-eth! :D

Blogging when you’re bouncing off the bright green walls for no apparent reason leads to a stream of consciousness that looks something like the above. For purposes of study alone, it shall not be deleted but exposed to the public for the forthcoming important observations.

:P

Trust me. My room has one and a half walls of bright fluorescent green. I thought the decorator was insane till I saw the end product. Suk, you've seen it! It's awesome, come on!

Divs, Suk will only start raving about the cuteness of guys himself. He will NOT shut up. Not everyone knows what was in "his closet". Suk, should I tell her?? :D :P

While I am a firm believer in the “My world (has to) revolves around me” Doctrine, I disagree with being selfish and seeing the world as selfish. Maybe it’s because I read Ayn Rand too young, didn’t understand it and formed a knee jerk reaction against selfishness per se. Live with the belief that others are good and expect goodness out of them and you’re likely to be pleasantly surprised is one of my many many rules for life. “Work hard, Be nice” is another so no disagreement with the pleasure of exhaustion being sweet. Nothing masochistic about it, you don’t need to get home to anybody and find the things that they do to make you feel all right after a hard days night. A hard day is quite enough itself. A big bubbly high five on the cutest words in the World (not just the English language, because I don’t know any other languages and well …… My world revolves around me!) also Twist your tongue around this Gilmore Girl inspired Sentence “Lorelai loves Loreal Rory Oreos and Lorries!” I love the Gilmore Girls :D. Green is supposed to soothe you, my Biology teacher used to make us stare at the trees and green blackboard to calm us down, so I assume that it’s not the green but the “Lurid Lighting” in your room which is totally getting to you Divya Ramesh and btw it’s the “horrid heat” in Delhi which is getting to me.

Love Ramusb

@Ramsub- Things happened. I became a cynic. I presently firmly believe everything is done for a selfish purpose and in fact me and hoverer had a huge debate over this yesterday in which i was able to counter each example he gave me. But, hopefully, I'll end up believing that everyone is good.

Nice tongue twister! :D

Soumya Ramasubramaniam, my lighting is not lurid because i never NEVER use "those" lights. Like god help me and may a sasta never pass my lips again before THAT happens!

Horrid humidity here :(

I loved your breathless tirade of a comment :D

@ divvi, that was my stream of consciousness (sp???)
as I read your (wunnerful :) ) post
!

as to the argument you and hoverer had, i wonder if you guys have seen or remember an argument between Joey and Phoebe (on Friends) on the same issue (which also went the same way).

I wouldn't argue this with anyone, it's a matter of faith and personal experience (either way)

If you think about it, any word a child says is way cuter than BUBBLE. The mispronunciation itself makes the word cute. Take for example, the word, turtle, not cute at first, but when a child says "toitel" its becomes a aww.. moment. Also take the word "pottie" for instance, icky at first, but when taken in context of the sentence "Mommie, I want to go pottie", then it becomes uber cute, with extra points for the kid holding his pee pee area and jumping up and down when he does it. So its not what the word is its who says it. When an adult jumps up and down grabbing his pee pee area, it becomes uber funny, or uber sexual harrasment.

@ voix- you conveniently forgot to mention that we concluded the argument agreeing to disagree yes there is a possible counter argument for every example (i dont think u successfully countered every example i threw at u) but like i said we just have different opinions and its nice to see ramsub shares the same

Divya said...

@sarcasmatron- Umm... Yes.. Thank you for that.. :D :P

@hoverer- the point was not that I countered all your examples but the fact that I found it in me to counter them all. Atleast I countered them well enough for myself. If you didn't buy it, well that's just you. I still think people suck, most of them. I hope it changes actually, the mindset, but seems set in for a while so might as well accept it. Seems I'm the only one around one who thinks so.

This was supposed to be a funny post.. Atleast I ended it being in a very funny mood... But what talks this has started... Yikes... Only sarcasmatron looked just at the funny part :P
